Kick back at Lay Back Larry's our Brennecke's Beach bungalow which we remodeled in 2025 for optimum style and comfort. Walk to the beach then come lay back at Larry's. The relaxed living room looks out toward the beach and is positioned in the middle of the house. Enjoy the flat screen TV and free WiFi for entertainment. Three corners host the three bedrooms, each with an ensuite full bathroom. We remodeled the kitchen with wide counters and a large island to convene around.
We host up to six guests. Two bedrooms have a king sized bed an ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom has two double beds. Two of the bathrooms have walk-in tiled showers and the third is a bathtub /shower combo. There is also a convenient outdoor shower for rinsing off when you get back from the beach. Our favorite feature of the house is the wrap around, covered lanai. Relax or dine outside while listening to the waves off the is Kauai paradise!
Kauai Island, aka the Garden Isle, is lush with rainforests, valleys, and waterfalls. Explore day hiking on the Napali Coast. Taste Kauai grown coffee at the largest coffee farm in Hawaii. Savor salt from the famed Hanapepe salt ponds. Giggle at the myriad roosters and hens -where is the funniest place you find them? And of course, bask in the sun on Kauai's many beaches including Brennecke's Beach just a few steps from your back door.

The house has recently been remodeled, and literally everything seemed to be brand new: the kitchen equipment, the furniture, the linens.
The location is fantastic: right across from Brenneke Beach with unending rolling surf, and just down from the tamer Poipu Beach with lifeguards and amenities. Because of the great location, the road in front of the house got a decent amount of (slow) traffic, but you can't hear the cars because of the surf.

All 6 of us stayed at this fantastic house for our vacation. We saw turtles, monk seals we had never seen before in our life. It's very happy place, with a good vibe, walking distance to shops and restaurants. All of Poipu was easy to get to. 5 stars!

We are from Japan and we all loved this house! My parents, us and our kids all had great time! The location of the house is amazing. Across from the Brenneckes beach. We went to the beach every day and enjoyed the beautiful view and weather! The house is remodeled, all new modern furnitures. The ocean view made us feel we are on Kauai for vacation! 5 min drive to nice shops and restaurant. We would love to come back again. Thank you!

We have been vacationing in the Hawaii islands for years but Kauai is our favorite island, especially the Poipu Beach area. Lay Back Larry’s won us over as our favorite place to stay...we will stay here again and again. The house was perfect for our family is every way...location, comfort and amenities.

Definitely a memorable experience at Lay Back Larry's. Looks like the home was recently upgraded, very impressive! We have stayed in many homes on island but this location is the spot. Everything is walkable and the house amazing!
